Explanation:
Arie Makhluf Deri is the leader and spokesman of the “Sefardi” religious political movement “Shas”. With a long history of corruption (including two years served in prison), he acts as a never ending pain in the ass in Israel’s daily life.
Masking himself as “one of the people”, he is actually one of the main fuelers of hatred towards immigrants among the Sefardi Jews. And the same people that have been humiliated by the European Jews until some decades ago, easily forget how it feels to live beneath the wheel, now that there are more disadvantaged populations underneath them.
