Explanation:
Whereas everyone is obliged to serve in the army, the ultra-orthodox get automatically exempted. Whereas everyone has to work their ass in order to maintain the extreme high prices in Israel, they get money from the state for studying the Bible. There’s nothing wrong with these privileges, but actually they should be extended to the rest of the society as well.
What actually is wrong is that the religious have become a very strong political force, keeping the rest of the citizens as hostages. They push biblical laws into our daily lives, closing trade and transportation on holy days, prohibiting couples to marry without religious ceremonies, fighting abortions. Yeah, the same fuckers speaking of “the holiness of life” make others’ life not liveable. Bunch of parasites.
